The Expanse: Multidimensional Furniture for Contemporary Living

Whether a wardrobe opening to another world, or a carpetbag that contains everything, or a phone box heavier than the planet, the idea that some things are bigger on the inside than on the outside is well-represented in our collective imaginings. But these things are not just flights of fancy. Like the traveler trunks of old, opening a clasp is often all it takes to reveal one thing that is many things. And while traveler’s trunks are out-of-fashion and computer bags with lots of pockets lack the romance, the charm, and the functionality, we all still need ways to combine the way we want to live our lives with the constraints we face. No where is this more true than in the intimate spaces where we live and sleep.
